Rohan
Rohan /{roh+ uhn}/: A taboo word in our house.
Born in Colombo, Sri Lanka and raised in Montreal by a French Canadian Mother, Rohan (2020) is an exercise in attempting to heal from traumatic bonds. The viewer accompanies me as I perform a culture and identity I know nothing of — and yet should be mine. Through this work, I attempt for the first time to research who my father is.
